
Forest Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), with a Masters degree in Forest Science and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Genetics and Breeding at the same institution. His academic background is focused on Quantitative Genetics and Forest Breeding, with an emphasis on statistical analysis of experimental data and genetic modeling. He works in research and development in Forest Genetic Breeding, with experience in large-scale data analysis, applied statistics, genetic experimentation, and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR). He has developed projects related to genetic prediction and the application of quantitative methodologies for the selection of superior genotypes. He also has experience in experimental design and statistical inference.His research interests include quantitative genetics, forest genetic breeding, applied statistics, data science, and bioinformatics. He has experience with R and Python programming languages, as well as statistical software for genetics and breeding applications
