Renan is a master's student in Applied Statistics and Biometry and graduated in Mathematics (Teaching Degree) from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). He developed his graduation project focused on the interface between mathematics and biology, with emphasis on the study of genotypes and phenotypes through cellular automata. Currently, he drives his master's research towards the field of genetics, focusing on competition modeling. He has experience as a tutor and monitor for courses in Linear Algebra, Basic Mathematics, Calculus I, Calculus II and Analytical Geometry. He also participated in the Pedagogical Residency Program and research projects in dynamic systems and chaos theory.
