Hackathon - UFV - Bayer

A hackathon is an intensive, collaborative event where participants—typically developers, designers, and subject matter experts—come together to solve complex problems within a limited timeframe. Often spanning a few days, these events foster rapid prototyping, creative thinking, and intense networking, pushing teams to transform innovative ideas into tangible solutions under pressure.

The first UFV-Bayer Hackathon was a resounding success! It was three days of intense coding, creative problem-solving, and meaningful networking. A heartfelt thank you goes to Professor Kaio Olimpio, Professor Leonardo Bhering, Laura Carvalho, and the entire GenMelhor team for their flawless organization.

And, of course, the food was truly impressive! We are also incredibly proud of the QGSL team, who took home top honors: Guilherme Bravim secured 2nd place, and João Marcos Amarion took home the 1st place prize. Congratulations to both of them on this outstanding achievement!
