Purdue University Team Visit

The Universidade Federal de Viçosa received the delegation from Purdue University composed of seven representatives. Both universities share a longstanting partnership and the pupose of this visit was to strengthen even more the ties between then.

The groud visited the Idata Building and we talked about new opportunities to study abroad.

The Purdue Delegation was composed of:

• Gerald Shively: Associate Dean and Director – International Programs in Agriculture;
• Thaisa Cantu-Jungles: Food Science;
• Fernanda Da Cunha: Agricultural & Biological Engineering;
• Siddhartho Paul: Agronomy;
• Sylvie Brouder: Agronomy;
• Carole Braund: Senior Program Manager – International Programs in Agriculture; and
• Heidi Arola: - Assistant Vice President and Senior International

Anyone interested in pursuing a doctorate should to keep an eye on this, for new possibilities are on the way.
